Your personal data is never sold.

Cookies and tracking

Tessera does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only data kept in your browser is what the studio needs to work. This includes a strictly necessary cookie that holds a random identifier so that a design you create can be reopened and edited only from the same browser. It contains no personal information, is not shared with anyone, and is not used to track you. Because it is essential to the service, no consent banner is required for it. Your current design is also kept in your browser so the studio can resume where you left off. Any analytics used is privacy-friendly and does not identify you or track you across other websites.

Retention

Order records are kept as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle support, and comply with tax law. The artwork preview generated for checkout may be kept until fulfilment, and afterwards where needed for reprints or disputes. Room photos you upload are never stored, so there is nothing to retain.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Get in touch at contact@tesserastudio.io. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Tessera ships to the United Kingdom. If you are visiting from the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation may still apply to data collected while you browse, and you have the same rights. You may raise a concern with Tessera at contact@tesserastudio.io, and you may also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in your own country.
