What we collect
- Photos you upload — processed to extract colours and generate your artwork. Uploaded images are sent to our server for analysis; your studio settings may be stored in your browser session.
- Order information — name, email, shipping address, order ID, design configuration, and payment status.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data — standard server and analytics logs where applicable (e.g. IP address, browser type).
How we use it
- Generate and preview your canvas design
- Process payment and fulfil your order (including our print partner)
- Send order confirmations and support emails
- Meet legal and accounting obligations
Who we share with
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
- Prodigi — print and shipping fulfilment
- Hosting & email providers (e.g. Vercel, Resend) — infrastructure and transactional email
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep order records as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle support, and comply with tax law. Preview images stored for checkout may be deleted after fulfilment unless needed for reprints or disputes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@tessera.art. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
