How it works
Tessera designs wall art around the colours already in your room. You upload a photo, the palette is read from it, and a geometric canvas is composed to complement it. From upload to a finished design takes a couple of minutes.

Upload a photo
A photo of your room works best, but anything with colours you like works: a poster, a rug, an album cover. Your photos are read for their colours and then discarded straight away; they are never stored.

The palette is detected
Tessera reads the main colours from your photo, judges their warmth, and picks a standout accent. You can add, remove or adjust any colour before the design is drawn.

The design is drawn
A geometric composition is generated around your palette in one of five cut styles. Redraw it as many times as you like, adjust the pattern, and preview the finished canvas in 3D, including the wrapped edges.

Printed and delivered
Your canvas is giclée printed at 305 DPI on 38mm gallery-wrapped stretched cotton canvas. Your canvas is printed and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. Most orders arrive within 5 to 9 working days of being placed. Shipping is free across the UK.

- What sizes are available?
- Three sizes, each in portrait or landscape: 16×20 inches (40×50 cm), 24×32 inches (60×80 cm) and 30×40 inches (75×100 cm). Prices run from £79 to £129 including delivery.
- How long does delivery take?
- Every canvas is made to order. It is printed and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days, and most orders arrive within 5 to 9 working days of being placed. Delivery is free across the UK.
- Do you ship outside the UK?
- Not at the moment. Tessera currently ships within the United Kingdom only.
- What happens to the photo I upload?
- It is read for its colours and then discarded straight away. Photos are never stored, and the finished design contains only the geometric artwork, not your image.
- What is the canvas printed on?
- Each piece is giclée printed at 305 DPI on 400gsm cotton canvas, stretched over a 38mm deep frame with gallery-wrapped edges, so the design continues around the sides.
- What if my canvas arrives damaged?
- Get in touch within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and Tessera will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Faulty or damaged goods are always covered.
- Can I return it if I change my mind?
- Because every canvas is printed from your custom design, there is no change-of-mind return once it has been ordered. This is standard for custom-made goods under UK consumer rules. You see exactly what will be printed, in 3D, before you pay.
